ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)
Trustleads – Commercial Opportunity Intelligence
Effective Date: Feb. 24th 2026
1. PURPOSE
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the permitted and prohibited use of Trustleads Commercial Opportunity Intelligence Products.
This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the Trustleads Terms & Conditions.
By purchasing or using Trustleads Products, the Customer agrees to comply with this Policy.
2. LAWFUL BUSINESS USE ONLY
Trustleads Products may only be used for lawful professional B2B commercial engagement.
Customers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

GDPR

UK GDPR
-
LGPD (Brazil)
-
CCPA / CPRA (California)

Applicable anti-spam laws
-
Electronic communications regulations
3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Customers shall NOT use Trustleads Products to:
3.1 Mass Unsolicited Communications

Send bulk spam emails
-
Conduct indiscriminate automated outreach
-
Use email blasting tools without compliance safeguards
-
Circumvent opt-out mechanisms
3.2 Unlawful Data Exploitation

Create public databases
-
Publish datasets online
-
Resell or redistribute data
-
Share datasets with third parties
-
License data to affiliates
3.3 Consumer Targeting

Target private individuals outside professional context
-
Engage in consumer profiling
-
Combine datasets with private personal information
3.4 Harassment or Malicious Conduct

Harass identified professionals
-
Conduct reputational attacks
-
Use data for deceptive practices
-
Engage in fraudulent schemes
3.5 Reverse Engineering or Replication
-
Replicate Trustleads dataset structure
-
Extract bulk data to create competing databases
-
Use Products to build derivative resale products
4. RESPONSIBLE OUTREACH REQUIREMENTS
Customers must ensure that any commercial outreach:

Is relevant and targeted
-
Respects opt-out requests
-
Includes appropriate identification
-
Complies with electronic communication laws
-
Avoids misleading or deceptive messaging
Trustleads does not authorize high-volume automated campaigns without compliance controls.
5. CUSTOMER AS INDEPENDENT DATA CONTROLLER
Upon purchase, the Customer acts as an independent Data Controller for any subsequent use of the data.
Trustleads does not monitor Customer outreach activity.
Trustleads shall not be liable for:

Regulatory investigations

Enforcement actions
-
Fines
-
Sanctions
-
Civil claims arising from Customer conduct
6. ENFORCEMENT RIGHTS
Trustleads reserves the right to:

Suspend access
-
Terminate license
-
Refuse future sales
-
Investigate suspected misuse
Where misuse creates legal risk, Trustleads may cooperate with lawful investigations by competent authorities.

Suspected misuse of Trustleads Products may be reported to:

Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
